New Haven County is home to some of the state’s largest cities, and Cottage Homecare Services CT LLC coordinates care across all of them — New Haven, Waterbury, Meriden, Milford and Hamden — so families can keep a loved one at home instead of moving to a facility.
We guide New Haven County families through HUSKY (Connecticut Medicaid) eligibility from the first phone call, then match each client with a trained, background-screened caregiver. Under AFL and PCA, that caregiver can be a family member already living in the home.

We schedule assessments and caregiver visits throughout New Haven County, from New Haven and Hamden to Waterbury, Meriden and Milford.
We are certified for Community First Choice (CFC), Personal Care Assistance (PCA) and Adult Family Living (AFL) — so New Haven County families are matched to the program that fits.
Through AFL and PCA, an adult child, sibling, friend or (in some cases) a spouse living in the home can be hired and paid to provide care. We handle enrollment and payroll.
Eligibility reviews and consultations are always free. We prepare and file the Medicaid paperwork, coordinate the in-home assessment, and stay on the file after care begins.
