Cottage Home Care Services proudly celebrated Diwali 2024 on Liberty Avenue, bringing together our vibrant and diverse community in a moment of unity, culture, and joy. Known as the Festival of Lights, Diwali symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and hope over despair. For us, this festival also represents the light our caregivers bring into the lives of seniors and families across New York every day.

The event was a beautiful reflection of our mission to serve the community not just through home care, but also through meaningful engagement. Our team was honored to participate in this culturally rich celebration, connecting with families, elders, caregivers, and neighbors who stopped by to share in the festivities. It was an opportunity to showcase our commitment to compassion, diversity, and inclusion—values that are at the heart of Cottage Home Care Services.

As part of the celebration, we offered the following experiences to spread happiness and build relationships:

• Community Outreach Booth: Our staff welcomed hundreds of attendees, shared educational brochures, and answered questions about our home care services in NYC, including HHA and PCA support options.
• Festive Giveaways: Over 500 people received Cottage-branded hoodies, reusable shopping bags, pens, and wellness kits, creating memorable impressions and brand awareness in a fun and thoughtful way.
• Cultural Engagement: Guests enjoyed free henna tattoos, traditional Indian sweets, snacks, and music—bringing a joyful and authentic Diwali atmosphere to Liberty Avenue.
