Employment

Licensed by the New York State Department of Health, Cottage Homecare Service is staffed by individuals that we believe you will welcome in your home; each is bonded and insured, given a criminal history check, and is carefully screened. In addition, all our attendants and nurses participate in periodic education updates' annual health assessments' skills testing. And all our home attendants are under nursing supervision and receive evaluations from our supervising registered nurses.

Documents Required For Employment:
(All documents must be originals)

  1. Applicant must have a valid HHA/PCA certificate and has worked with a Homecare Agency within the last two years.
  2. Applicant must have a valid Work Authorization/Green Card if not a U.S. Citizen.  If U.S. Citizen, must have  a Government ID, i.e. Driver's License/Non-Driver's ID, Social Security Card, etc...
  3. Physical within the last year.
  4. Two references - Homecare Agency/Professional Reference
  5. Recent Drug Screening
